You can get involved by joining theme camps, contributing art installations, volunteering for various roles, performing, or simply attending and immersing yourself in the experience as a participant.

Guided by the principles of Burning Man – including radical self-expression, communal effort, and leaving no trace – attendees are encouraged to embrace their individuality, engage with their surroundings, and contribute to the collective tapestry of experiences that define the event.

As with any Burning Man event, attendees are encouraged to bring everything they need to survive and thrive in a camping site. This includes food, water, shelter, costumes, art supplies, camping gear, and any other necessities for self-reliance, gifting and participation. You shall receive all the necessary details to make your experience memorable.

Participants are obliged to contribute a nominal payment starting at INR 8000/- that would be utilised for common expenses art installations etc.. Any contribution or donation must be paid through our official website or community partner Sensistan ONLY. Contribution Payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. The contributions are transferable to another individual only with prior written approval from the organisers of Portal 91. You can get invited here.
